Hackers Backed By Chinese Military Possibly Behind Japan Cyberattacks
Cyberattacks on about 200 Japanese firms and research organizations, including the country's space agency JAXA are being investigated by Japanese authorities. Investigators suspect that Chinese military backed hackers are behind the perpetration. The Japanese police submitted papers to prosecutors on a Chinese Communist Party official, on suspicion of forging digital documents linked to the cyberattacks on April 20. Reportedly, Japan’s space agency faced a cyberattack in year 2016.
