Himachal Pradesh CM Withdraws Character Certificate Orders, Welcomes Journalists To Cover Modi's Event

After the controversial character certificate requirement, Himachal Pradesh CM Jai Ram Thakur announced the withdrawal of the mandatory orders. A day ahead of the PM Narendra Modi's event in Bilaspur, CM Thakur said, "I invite all journalists to cover PM's visit to the state on October 5. We've withdrawn official order and sought an explanation from issuing official." Notably, On October 5, PM Modi will inaugurate AIIMS in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.
