India Buys Winter Essentials For Ladakh Troops From US On Urgent Basis
Following the stalled diplomatic talks between India and China, India has hinted of winter deployment by purchasing war essentials from the United States on an urgent basis. The officials informed that India has bought high altitude warfare kits to use in the winter. Reportedly, the purchase has been made under the Logistics Exchange Memorandum Agreement (LEMOA) that allows troops of both the countries to access the logistics of either side.
