Kerala: Ex-Secretary Of CM Denied Anticipatory Bail In Gold Smuggling Case
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken M Sivasankar, former secretary of CM Pinarayi Vijayan, into custody after he was denied an anticipatory bail by the Kerala High Court. Reportedly, the ED has asserted that Sivasankar had connections in 'money laundering case' and had knowledge about the smuggling activities. Earlier, Sivasankar was suspended from duty after there were allegations about his connections in the high-profile Kerala gold smuggling case.
