As Maharashtra has allowed reopening of religious places from November 16, the government has released Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in this regard. While wearing of masks and adherence to social distancing norms have been made mandatory, religious places have been asked to arrange thermal screening at entrance and install hand wash/sanitizing facilities. People have also been asked to do contactless prayers. However, large gatherings in premises will still remain prohibited.
