Meet Chitrasen Sahu, India's First Double Leg Amputee Climbs Europe's Highest Peak
Chitrasen Sahu, a specially-abled double leg amputee mountaineer from Chhattisgarh, climbed one of Europe and Russia’s highest mountain peaks, Mount Elbrus at a height of 5,642 metres. After hoisting India’s national flag at the peak, he shared the message, “'Mission Inclusion—To promote equity' and the Plastic Free Nation.” Besides, he is India’s first double amputee to climb three of the world's highest peaks of three separate continents.
