Odisha Floods: Rescue Operations On; People Shifted to Shelters
Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force on August 30 rescued people from the flood-affected areas of the state and shifted them to relief camps. According to Odisha Police, at least 16 people were rescued; and, based on their conditions, were sent either to shelters or to hospitals. Reportedly, water level of Mahanadi River has also increased following the opening of the Hirakund Dam's gates.
