People Go To Bed Late, Sleep Less On Nights Before Full Moon: Study
The National Science Foundation and Leakey Foundation-funded study has revealed that people go to bed late and sleep less on nights before a full moon. According to the study, the sleep cycle oscillates during the 29.5-day lunar cycle. Notably, the oscillations were observed in all people regardless of their living environment, though its degree varied. Reportedly, variation in total amount of sleep ranged from 46-58 minutes and, for bedtime, it was around 30 minutes.
