Police Arrest Two Smugglers In Udhampur J&K, Recovers 397 Kg Poppy Straw

J&K arrested two narcotic smugglers and recovered 397 kg poppy straw, from them in Udhampur region, on January 16. The police said, the poppy straws, packed in 19 bags were found in a Haryana-bound truck, during an inspection on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway. Reportedly, the truck driver Nand Kishore and his companion Niti Nain, both residents of Rohtak, were arrested, and booked under the NDPS act.
