Researchers Find Sauropod Dinosaurs Remains In Meghalaya
Geological Survey of India's researchers have discovered 25 fossil bone remains of Sauropod Dinosaurs at West Khasi Hills district, Meghalaya. Sauropod Dinosaurs are one of the largest animals that have lived on land. Dating 100-million-years back, the different-sized bone fragments were found on a purplish to greenish arkosic sandstone. The species might have belonged to the Titanosaurian origin that has a long neck, tail, small heads, and four pillar-like legs.
