SC Permits Accused In Payal Tadvi Suicide Case To Enter College Premises
The Supreme Court has overruled the Bombay High Court's direction to not allow the three doctors, accused of abetting Dr Payal Tadvi to commit suicide, enter the Nair Hospital premises. The apex court allowed the accused - Ankita Khandelwal, Hema Ahuja and Bhakti Mehare - to complete their medical studies from the hospital, where the incident happened in 2019. Reportedly, Payal Tadvi had committed suicide after facing caste-based discrimination from the accused.
