Schools Can Only Charge Tuition Fees Upon Providing Online Education: HC
The Punjab and Haryana High Courts, on October 1, declared that schools can only charge tuition fees if the students have received online education during the COVID-19 lockdown period. Justices Rajeev Sharma and Harinder Singh Sindhu announced that all the employees of the institution will receive their remuneration like before. Reportedly, the schools have been instructed to verify the balance sheets and submit in the court within two weeks.
