SDRF Troops Rescue Flood Victims In Maharashtra Villages

Personnel from State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) on July 19 rescued residents in flood-affected villages of Ghugus, Belsani, and Soit in Warora, Maharashtra's Chandrapur district. Various districts in Maharashtra have been affected by excessive rains this season, prompting the Maharashtra government to deploy 13 NDRF and three SDRF teams across the state. On July 18, the flood situation in Maharashtra's Wardha district remained dire, with relentless rains and overflowing dams.
