US Govt Urges Fed Court To Certify India's Request For Tahawwur's Extradition
Joe Biden-led US government has requested the Federal Court to approve India’s request for extradition of 2008 Mumbai attack accused and fugitive Tahawwur Rana. Validating the request, the Assistant US Attorney has claimed that Rana meets all requirement of extradition. Reportedly, the court has scheduled Rana’s extradition hearing for April 22. Earlier, Rana’s attorney had pleaded in court that his extradition is violative of the US-India Extradition Treaty.
