BJP Leader Ganpat Gaonkar Joins AAP Before 2022 Goa Election

Ganpat Goankar, a BJP leader has joined the Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of Delhi's CM, Arvind Kejriwal on October 24. According to the press release by AAP, "Goankar had been a BJP member for a  period of 15 years before he quit in the year 2020 to contest the Zilla Parishad as an independent candidate." Goankar is likely to contest from the Sattari Taluka, Goa in 2022.

Delhi Registers First Dengue Death; 382 Cases Registered

With cases of Dengue rising, "first" death has been recently reported on the 18th of October. Delhi is facing some major issues with the mosquito-born-viral infection usually found in urban and semi-urban areas of the country. Twitterati flooding with comments on the Delhi government's, "10 Hafte, 10 Baje, 10 Minute campaign raises concerns. However, till now, 382 cases have been reported in the month of October.

Centre Should Consider Farmers' 'Legitimate Demand': Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, on September 27, asked the Centre to consider the demands of farmers protesting against the three farm laws. Kejriwal said, "farmers are being forced to protest and call for Bharat Bandh again and again to raise their demands. Their demands are legitimate, and the Centre should consider them." Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party has also extended support to the farmers' Bharat Bandh call on September 27.

Will Provide 300 Units Free Electricity To Goa: Arvind Kejriwal

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor and Delhi's CM Arvind Kejriwal promised to provide 300 units of free electricity to the people of Goa 'free of cost', on July 14. During the press conference in Panaji, Kejriwal said, ''With the implementation of this scheme, 87% of Goa will start getting zero electricity bills. All old bills will also be waived off.'' Earlier, Kejriwal had also made similar promises to Uttarakhand and Punjab.
