BJP leaders and workers staged a protest outside the Aam Aadmi Party headquarters in Delhi, on February 4. The protest was said to be in the view of ongoing Delhi Liquor Scam, which involved Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, AAP leaders and prestigious businessmen from Hyderabad and Delhi, Haryana. ED Used To Topple State Governments, Says Arvind Kejriwal
Delhi CM and President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal rubbished the chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi Liquor Scam. Addressing the media, Kejriwal said, "completely fictional". Notably, the ED filed a chargesheet saying, the AAP used the Delhi Liquor Scam money for the Goa elections campaign. "ED is not used to check corruption…it is rather used to topple state governments," said Kejriwal.

ED Says AAP Used Delhi Liquor Scam Money For Poll Campaign
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) alleged the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of using Delhi Liquor Scam money for the Goa Elections Campaign. On February 2, the ED officials filed a chargesheet which mentioned that AAP's communications in charge Vijay Nair asked some people involved in the scam to receive payments in cash. The Central Agency, conducting the Delhi Liquor Scam presented the chargesheet before Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi.

Delhi Police Arrest 4 PFI Members After Ban
Delhi police have arrested four members of the Popular Front of India (PFI) over a week, following its ban, an official confirmed on October 3. This marks the first few arrested after the central government banned the organisation. Punjab minister and AAP leader Aman Arora blamed that previous governments for the escape of gangster Deepak Tinu from police custody. He further stated that there is a “black sheep” in the police department. Notably, gangster Deepak Tinu, a close aide of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi accused in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case, was brought from Tihar for questioning, where he reportedly escaped from the police custody.

Vijay Nair Sent To 5-Day CBI Remand In Delhi Excise Policy Case
In the ongoing investigation of the Delhi Excise policy case, a Delhi court has sent Vijay Nair to five-day CBI remand. Although, the CBI had sought for a seven-day remand. Vijay Nair is the communications chief of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the former CEO of Mumbai-based entertainment company ‘Only Much Louder’. Nair was arrested on September 27, for cartelisation, conspiracy and chosen licensing.

Delhi HC Issues Interim Order In Favour Of Lt Governor Saxena In Defamation Case
The Delhi High Court (HC) issued notice and passed an interim order in favour of Delhi Lt. General Vinay Kumar Saxena, regarding a defamation case, filed against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs. Notably, AAP leaders accused Saxena of illegal corrupt activities in Delhi. However, Delhi Lt. General denied the allegations and filed an interim injunction against AAP leaders, asking them to restrain from levelling baseless allegations.

Punjab CM Calls For Special Assembly Session To Pass Confidence Motion
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann announced to conduct of a special Punjab Assembly Session. The special State Legislative Assembly session has been called on September 22, to pass a confidence motion. Delhi Excise Policy Case: ED Conducts Raids At Multiple Locations
In the case of Delhi excise policy, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at multiple locations in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. Earlier on September 6, raids were conducted in Punjab, Haryana, Telangana and Maharashtra.
