BKU President Joins AAP In Poll Bound Himachal Pradesh
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is getting stronger in Himachal Pradesh, which is scheduled to go for polls later this year. On May 5, the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) Chief Anandra Singh Notty joined the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP, in the presence of Delhi Health Minister Satyender Jain. After the exit of AAP Chief Anup Kesari and GS Satish Thakur, BKU's Notty is a boost for AAP in Himachal Pradesh.

Farmer Union Leader Rakesh Tikait Receives Death Threats, Files FIR
After receiving threat calls, Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait registered an FIR with the Muzaffarnagar Police in Uttar Pradesh. Furthermore, the details of the caller is unknown. On March 28, his driver Perjval Tyagi filed a complaint, following which an investigation was initiated. After the FIR, Rakesh Sharma, the sub inspector who is investigating the matter, visited Tikait at his residence.
