In Madhya Pradesh's Rahatgarh district, a school bus met with an accident, on September 27. As per sources, the bus carrying 40 children met with a major accident, resulting in the death of one child, and leaving two seriously injured. Moreover, all the other 37 students are fine and safe. "One child died. All other children are safe," said Deepak Arya, Collector of Sagar.

In Tamil Nadu’s Salem district, a van collided with an omni bus on August 23. The collision caused the deaths of six persons, and left five others injured. Reportedly, the van which was going on a flyover collided head on with a private omni bus coming from the opposite direction. The injured persons have been admitted to Salem Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical college hospital.

A bus carrying 37 troops from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and two Jammu & Kashmir Police officials slid into the gorge between Chandanwari and Pahalgam, prompting a large rescue mission, according to a police official. In Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh, a bus veered off a flyover, on July 29. The bus was carrying around 30-40 passengers on board, and around 25 have been admitted to a hospital after sustaining injuries. Reportedly, one person died in the accident. According to the Superintendent of Police Kuldeep Singh Gunawat, the bus was bound to reach Farrukhabad. Further details on the matter is awaited.

In Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki, a double-decker bus collided with a parked double-decker bus in Purvanchal Expressway, in the morning of July 25. The accident has claimed the lives of six passengers, and left over a dozen injured. The police and rescue teams rushed to the spot, and the injured were taken to CHC Haidergarh for treatment. Reportedly, the bus was going to Delhi from Bihar.
