Congress MLA Bharat Singh Seeks Probe Into Death Of Crocodile: Rajasthan
Congress MLA Bharat Singh Kundanpur urged the Rajasthan Wildlife Board to probe the matter over the death of 50 crocodiles in Kota's Kala Talab, on March 6. Congress MLA wrote a letter and urged them to provide him with a detailed report. "We have neither received any information about crocodiles troubling local people nor their deaths," Yusuf Ali, a local resident said. The police launched an investigation, which is underway.

Punjab Assembly elections are underway on February 20. The Election Commission confirmed smooth polling, which started at 8 am, with over 20% voters turnout till 11 am. Rahul Gandhi Expresses Grief Over Deaths In Kanpur Bus Accident
A tragic incident happened on January 30 night in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter and expressed grief over the loss of lives in the bus accident. "I appeal all my Congress colleagues to help in every possible way," tweeted Rahul. In an accident, at least five people have died and several are injured. Jasbir Singh Khangura, former MLA from Qila Raipur in Punjab, quits the Congress party, on January 30. Khangura stated, "This has been a valuable and emotional 20 odd years journey for me and some 60 years for my father who is also resigning concurrently," read the resignation letter.
