Sputnik Single-Dose Vaccine Trial Gets Approval From DGCI
The third Phase trial of the Sputnik light, a single-dose vaccine in India has been granted permission by the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI). A study published in The Lancet showed Sputnik light has 78.6 to 83.7% efficacy against Covid. It is higher than two shot vaccines. The CDSCO committee stated that Sputnik light is the same as Sputnik V. Its safety or immunogenicity has been previously tested.

71% of Children Developed Antibodies Against COVID-19: Report
A serosurvey conducted by PGIMER on Sept 13 among 2,700 children showed that 71% developed anti-bodies. Further, PGIMER Director Dr. Jagat Ram said, "India to face 3rd wave of covid soon, but children won't be the worst affected, as children have contracted Covid virus." Also, surveys from Maharashtra and Delhi have witnessed only 50-70% of children have developed anti-bodies. Expedite your vaccination before the third wave, he advised.

Thousand Maskless Protestors' Opposes Covid-19 Norms: Istanbul

DCGI Approves J&J's Single-Shot COVID-19 Vaccine In India
Big Pharma Johnson &Johnson's to roll out its single-shot Covid Vaccine in India by the next month. Besides, it is being manufactured at 'Biological E' in Hyderabad. However, the officials have received Emergency Use Approval (EUA) from DCGI. Moreover, Vaccine batches will be sent to Central Drugs Laboratory (CDL) and National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) for final testing by next week.

Karnataka Labours Create Chaos After Govt Buy Vaccine From Their Funds
