Crude Bomb Blasts In Patna Civil Court, Police Sub-Inspector Wounded

A police officer who allegedly brought the explosive for a probe was wounded when a crude bomb detonated inside the Bihar Civil Court on July 1. Umakant Rai, a sub-inspector of police, has a broken arm but is not in danger, stated Sabiul Haq, SHO of Pirbahore police station. Investigations are underway to determine if the devices had been properly defused before being taken to court.

19 Crude Bombs Found In Abandoned Auto-Rickshaw: West Bengal

In Kolkata, 19 crude bombs were seized from an abandoned auto-rickshaw near a children's home, confirmed police on April 23. As per PTI, the search was based on a tip-off, and after the raid found bombs. The officer said, "19 crude bombs, one country-made pistol and two cartridges were found in one of the auto-rickshaws". The official launched an investigation to assure if it is a terror plot.

Kolkata: Crude Bombs Thrown In Front Of Mahajati Sadan To Scare Voters

During the last phase of the West Bengal Assembly elections on April 29, two crude bombs were thrown in front of Mahajati Sadan, one of the busiest roads in Kolkata. Reportedly, the act was done to scare voters gathered in the Jorasanko Assembly area. The Kolkata Police immediately rushed to the location and no casualties have been reported so far. Meanwhile, the police are checking CCTV footage for further investigation.

WB: Crude Bomb Explosion Leaves 2 Dead & 2 Others Seriously Injured

A crude bomb explosion left two dead and two people seriously injured in a house in West Bengal's Kamarhati Golaghat area. The identities of the deceased have now been determined; Sajid and Raja. It is reported that out of the four people who were rushed to the hospital after the explosion, two succumbed to their injuries, while one is seriously injured and is undergoing treatment. The matter is under investigation.

Madhya Pradesh: Bomb Found in a School, Note Threatens 7 Other Schools

On September 05, a crude bomb was found in TDS school in Mehgaon village of Madhya Pradesh. The bomb, accompanied by note was found in a surveillance-free area. The note stated that there were bombs in seven other schools, belonging to the proprietor of the school. The police alerted the bomb disposal squad and the investigation is underway. The police suspect it is a mischief by one of the rivals of the proprietor.
