New draft guidelines have been issued for the welfare of children in the entertainment industry. The Indian wedding industry is bearing the brunt of the COVID-caused lockdowns. Rajiv Jain, Director of Rashi Entertainment said that the estimated size of the industry is about Rs 3 lakh crore, and appealed the government to use 'four square feet' formula. Another entrepreneur, Anil Thandani, stated that the employees in the industry have turned jobless, and opined that the prospects of weddings taking place sooner are bleak.
