With the excuse of inviting him home, Firoz Khan was brutally assaulted by his girlfriend’s family members in UP’s Kasganj district. His head was even shaved and later he was dumped outside their village. The 25-year-old suffered severe injuries. As per his statement, three accused including the girl’s father, brother, and two uncles have been filed under IPC sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement).

In a bizarre incident, a youngster from UP's Bhadohi crashed into her girlfriend's wedding for one final meeting while being disguised as a woman. Interestingly, he donned wig, sandals and even a ladies purse too. However, his plan was soon busted as his body language created suspicion among the bride's family. Reportedly, he was accompanied by his friends who also helped him in fleeing the scene.
