Tamil Director KV Anand Passes Away Due To COVID-19 Complications
Tamil cinematographer and director KV Anand passed away on April 30 due to heart attack in Chennai's hospital. According to reports, the 54-year-old suffered COVID-19 complications. Mourning his loss, celebrities including Mohanlal, Allu Arjun and many more took to social media & expressed their condolences. Moreover, being a cinematographer for over 2 decades he directed remarkable movies including Ayan, Ko, and Maattrraan.

Just 3 Days Before Counting, Kerala Congress Candidate VV Prakash Dies
Just three days before the announcement of the election results, Congress candidate from Kerala's Nilambur constituency V V Prakash passed away on April 29 due to a heart attack. The 56-year-old was admitted to a private hospital in Manjeri due to chest pain. Prakash was also the chief of Malappuram District Congress Committee. However, he had not contracted COVID-19. He had held several key positions in the Kerala Congress.

American Rapper-Cum-Actor DMX Dies Of Heart Attack At 50
American rapper-cum-actor Earl Simmons (50), popularly known as DMX - Dark Man X, passed away on April 9 after being on life-support for five days following a heart attack. Featured in movies like Cradle 2 the Grave and Romeo Must Die, DMX had topped music charts with his songs 'Party Up' and 'X Gon Give It To Ya' as well. He had also served several jail sentences against many charges.

Overjoyed UP Thief Suffers Heart Attack After Looting Rs 7 Lakh
In a bizarre incident, a thief suffered a heart attack after he was overjoyed with a successful heist of Rs 7 lakh from a public service centre in Bijnor, UP. The thief, Ejaz, and his accomplice Naushad had committed the robbery in mid-February. However, Ejaz soon suffered the heart attack and had to spend a large amount of the looted money on treatment. Arresting them from Alipur, the police have recovered Rs 3.7 lakh.

All Good Cholesterol Cannot Be Deemed Healthy, Suggests Study
Contrary to conventional beliefs, not all HDL cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein cholesterol) or good cholesterols are healthy, revealed a study. Actor Rajiv Kapoor No More; Dies Of Heart Attack In Mumbai
Late Rishi Kapoor's younger brother Rajiv Kapoor passed away on February 9 due to a major heart attack. Confirming Rajiv's demise, his brother Randhir Kapoor stated, "the doctors tried their best but could not save him." Reportedly, Rajiv was rushed to hospital following the cardiac arrest and was declared dead upon arrival. The 58-year-old acted in several films, including 'Aasmaan', 'Lover Boy', 'Zabardast', and 'Hum To Chale Pardes'.

Choreographer Remo D'Souza Hospitalized After Cardiac Arrest
ABCD-famed choreographer-director Remo D'souza has suffered a heart attack and was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on December 11. Reportedly, he has undergone angioplasty and is maintaining stable health. Remo, who made his debut with Bollywood Dreams in 1995 as a choreographer, has also worked on movies such as Dhoom, Rock On!!, London Dreams and Chameli. He has also been judges to several TV reality shows.

Kapil Dev Hospitalized Due To Heart Attack; Undergoes Angioplasty Surgery
Former Indian cricket team captain, Kapil Dev has been hospitalised after he suffered from a cardiac arrest. Reportedly, he went through angioplasty at a hospital in New Delhi. Currently, the 61-year-old legendary all-rounder is feeling alright, his wife Romi added. On October 22, the cricketer had complained of his uneasiness. According to the hospital officials, he is undergoing tests and check-ups for his speedy recovery.

Congress Spokesperson Rajiv Tyagi Passes Away at 52
Congress leader Rajiv Tyagi (52) passed away on August 12, suffering from a heart attack, just after a TV debate at his house in Vasundhara, Ghaziabad. He was immediately taken to Yashoda hospital in Kaushambi, but the doctors were unsuccessful in resuscitating him. The members of the Congress party expressed their condolences on Twitter.
