The intelligence agencies issued a high alert to Mumbai police against terrorist activities and also asked them to remain vigilant. The Indian Army is on high alert after noticing Chinese build-up at atleast four locations near the border in Arunachal Pradesh. The areas include Asaphila, Tuting axis, Chang Tze, and Fishtail-2 sectors. Reportedly, the Chinese military may have been planning to attack and capture some of the areas. The government sources have also informed that the Chinese troops have started patrolling close to the Indian areas.
