US State Secy Flags "Human Rights Abuses" In India
During a joint press briefing held with the Indian Defence Minister and the Foreign Minister, US State Secretary Antony Blinken expressed grave concern over what he sees as "human rights abuses" in India. He did not elaborate much, but he did single out government, prison and police officials as the perpetrators. Rajnath Singh, who was also present, did not comment on the unusual remarks made by the senior US diplomat.

China Accuses G7 Of 'Political Manipulation' Following Xinjiang Criticism
China accused the G7 of "political manipulation" on June 14 after the leaders of the group questioned Beijing's human rights record in Xinjiang and Hong Kong. The Chinese Embassy in UK reacted angrily to these questions and claimed that the leaders were "interfering" in internal matters. RSHRC Directs Rajasthan Govt To Curb Use Of Fire-Crackers During Diwali

UN Blames Venezuelan Government for Human Rights Violations

CAA Protests: Amnesty International Alleges Violation of Human Rights By Delhi Police
Global NGO, Amnesty International has accused Delhi Police of torture and violation of human rights during the communal riots that took place in the capital city over Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The NGO’s report is based on forensic analysis of riot videos and eyewitness accounts, claiming the police burned down homes and beat up protesters based on their community.
