Create Value From Waste, Use Green Hydrogen: Nitin Gadkari

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on December 2, said that he aims to "create value from waste" and is planning to use green hydrogen to run buses, cars, and trucks in Indian cities. While addressing the sixth National Summit and Financial Inclusion, Union minister said, "I've brought a pilot project car that would run on green hydrogen produced in an oil research institute in Faridabad. NTPC To Launch Hydrogen Fueled Buses On Delhi-Jaipur Route

India for the first time will be running special hydrogen-fueled busses for intercity commute, starting from Delhi-Jaipur route. To be run by the National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, the initiative aims to reduce public transport's dependency on crude oils.
