ED Files 2nd Chargesheet Against Anil Deshmukh In Money Laundering Case
Enforcement Directorate (ED) on December 29, filed a second charge sheet against former Maharashtra Minister Anil Deshmukh. Mumbai Mayor Given Security After Death Threats, Maha Minister Assures Action
Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar received a threat letter on December 11, following which she had registered a complaint to the police station. Talking about the threat letter Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil assured security and action. "The search operation of the sender is on. The culprit would be punished harshly", said Patil. Earlier in 2020 also, the Mumbai Mayor received the death threat over the phone.
