19-Year-Old Girl Held For Sexually Assaulting Minor In Tamil Nadu

Under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, a 19-year-old girl was arrested by Tamil Nadu's Pollachi all-woman police on August 28. The accused married a 17-year-old boy with whom she met while working at a petrol bunk. However, after marrying, they returned to Kerala's Coimbatore, where “the girl sexually assaulted the boy.” Later, the woman was charged under Section 5(I) and Section 6.

A Mumbai session court has granted anticipatory bail to a man and his family members who were accused of forcible sexual intercourse. The woman accused the husband of having sex against her wish which caused temporary lower waist paralysis.
