Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Jaipur and attend a BJP OBC Morcha, on September 10.  During the Rajasthan visit, Amit Shah will be addressing the BJP leaders and the OBC Morcha organized in the State Capital. Notably, the National Working Committee of the BJP organized the BJP OBC Morcha from September 8-10, to woo OBC voters in Rajasthan, to strengthen the party against the Congress.

Centre said on July 24 that a 34-year-old man from Delhi with no history of overseas travel had tested positive for monkeypox virus, making him the fourth instance of the disease identified in India. "A high-level review of the situation has been planned by the Directorate General of Health Sciences at 3 pm Sunday," the Ministry of Health said. Three cases of monkeypox have previously been documented in Kerala.

Amid the recent restriction on engineering colleges' fee-hike, the Consortium of Self-Financing Professional Arts and Science Institutions in Tamil Nadu is scheduled to meet Tamil Nadu Minister, on May 29. The board members will meet Education Minister K. Ponmudi, demanding a fee hike. Notably, eight such engineering institutions were shut down due to TN Government's announcement that they will not increase fees in Tamil Nadu.
