PM Modi To Chair COVID Review Meeting On Jan 9

Amid rising cases of Covid-19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a meeting on January 9, at 4:30 pm in the country. Reportedly the meeting comes amid a frightening surge in daily new cases. Meanwhile, India on January 9, reported 1,59,632 new Covid-19 cases, taking the positivity rate up by 10.21% in the last 24 hours. India has reported 3,623 cases of the Omicron variant.

PM Modi Met Cabinet Ministers To Make Strategy For Parliament's Winter Sessions

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 1 held a meeting with senior cabinet leaders in Parliament to discuss strategy for the ongoing winter session. Top leaders such as Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman, Nitin Gadkari, Prahlad Joshi, and Kiren Rijiju attended the meeting. The winter session of the Parliament commenced on November 29, passing the Farm Laws Repeal Bill 2021. The session is likely to conclude on December 26.

Amit Shah, J&K LG Manoj Sinha Likely To Meet Over Terrorist Attack

Jammu and Kashmir's lieutenant Governor and Home Minister Amit Shah are likely to meet in the second half of October 9 in the wake of the recent attack on civilians in the union territory.
