Earthquake Of 4.2 Magnitude Hits Afghanistan's Fayzabad; No Casualties So Far

The National Center for Seismology on February 15 informed that a 4.2 magnitude earthquake jolted Afghanistan's Fayzabad at 10:33 AM. The epicenter of the quake is reported to be 60 kilometers from the depth of the earth. However, so far there are no reports of deaths or damage to the property and further investigation reports are yet to be availed.

Earthquake Of 4.1 Magnitude Hits Uttarkashi District: Uttarakhand

The National Center for Seismology on February 12, said a 4.1 magnitude earthquake jolted the city of Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district at 5:03 AM. The epicenter of the quake is reported to be 28 kilometers from the depth of the earth. "Earthquake of Magnitude: 4.1, occurred on February 2, Lat: 30.72 & Long: 78.85," the NCS tweeted. So far, no reports of deaths and damage to property have been reported.

Earthquake Of Magnitude 4.3 Hits Pangin Area: Arunachal Pradesh

The National Center for Seismology on February 7, said a 4.3 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale jolted the city of Arunachal Pradesh's Pangin Area at 10:59 PM. "An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 occurred around 22:59:17 IST today, at 305 km NNE of Pangin, Arunachal Pradesh, India," NCS tweeted. So far, no reports of deaths and damage to property have been reported. Moreover, further details are awaited.

Earthquake Of Magnitude 6.4 Hits North Nicolas

The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said that an earthquake of 6.4 magnitude hit the West of North Nicolas, Northern Cyprus on January 11. Reportedly, the quake jolted Northern Cyprus, at a depth of about 10 kilometers. The tremors were recorded at 6:37 IST in the city. On the contrary, no damages or casualties were reported. Meanwhile, further details are awaited. (ANI)

Ayodhya Striked By Earthquake Magnitude Of 4.3: UP

In Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya, an earthquake magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale struck, on January 6 at 11:59 pm, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS). The epicentre of the quake is reported to be 176 km NNE of the city. It occurred at a depth of 15 km from the surface. So far, no reports of deaths and damage to property have been reported.

Earthquake Of 3.7 Magnitude Strikes Sikkim's Ravangla

The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said that Sikkim's Ravangla was hit by an earthquake of magnitude 3.7 on the Richter scale in the wee hours of January 5. The epicentre of the quake was recorded at 12 kilometres north of Ravangla. It occurred at a depth of five kilometers from the surface. So far, any death and damage to property have not been reported.

Earthquake Of Magnitude 3.8 Jolts Uttarakhand

The National Center for Seismology (NCS) on December 5, informed that an earthquake of magnitude 3.8 in the Richter scale hit Uttarakhand's Tehri Garhwal. As per NCS' tweet, the depth of the earthquake was 10 km (Lat: 30:61 and Long: 78.82), and occured at 02:02:47 IST. No damage has been reported yet and further details are underway.

Earthquake Of Magnitude 4.0 Jolts Maharashtra's Ratnagiri

The National Centre for seismology said an earthquake of magnitude 4.0 hit Maharashtra's Ratnagiri district on November 15 at 2:36 AM. The depth of the quake was recorded at 5 kilometres from the surface. The epicentre of the quake was in coastal Ratnagiri which is 350 kilometre away from Mumbai. However, there were no reports of death and casualties, said J L Gautam, Head (Operations) of the NCS.

3.9 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Haridwar; No Casualties Reported

A 3.9 magnitude earthquake has jolted Uttarakhand's Haridwar on December 1, informed the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). As per NCS' reports, the earthquake had a depth of 10 Km. Besides, it has been recorded at 9:41 AM, 22 Km west north west of Haridwar, stated the NCS's Twitter handle. However, no records of fatalities or destruction caused by the earthquake have been registered.
