JDU Officially Exit NDA, BJP Alliance In Bihar
Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (United) (JDU) officially walks out of alliance with the BJP in Bihar, on August 9. The developments came after a meeting of MLAs and MPs, at Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's residence, Patna. Furthermore, Kumar will meet Bihar Governor Phagu Chauhan at 4:00 pm and resign as the State CM. Bomb Hurled Near CM Nitish Kumar's Public Meeting Site: Bihar
In Bihar's Nalanda, a bomb was hurled in the area where CM Nitish Kumar was conducting a public meeting, on April 12. Immediately after the incident, police officials rushed to the spot, to apprehend the attackers. One person has been arrested in connection with the bomb blast, reported ANI. Earlier on March 27, a man was arrested for trying to attack CM Nitish Kumar.

8 CPI MLAs Carried Out Of Bihar Assembly For Creating Ruckus
In a chaotic incident at Bihar assembly on March 31, eight CPI MLAs were carried out of the assembly for creating "ruckus", by order of the speaker. According to CPI MLA Birendra Prasad Gupta, the government is trying to create a "Hindu-Muslim divide in the state". He further stated that the MLAs wanted a discussion on the issues they raised, which the assembly speaker refused.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar expressed condolence to the victims of Bhagalpur explosion, held on the night of March 3. A total of seven people lost lives and several were injured, after a massive explosion was reported near Yatimkahana in Kajvalichak region in Bhagalpur, Bihar. The district authority said, the explosion was caused due to firecracker making in the building. Earlier, PM Modi also expressed grief over the incident.

Hijab 'Not An Issue' In Bihar, Says CM Nitish Kumar
Taking a dig at the ongoing Hijab controversy, Nitish Kumar said it is not an issue in Bihar, and that religious sentiments are respected in the state.
