Uttarakhand Creates History After 62.5% Population Turn-Out For Voting
Post Assembly elections on February 14, the Uttarakhand CM & BJP leader Pushkar Singh Dhami said that people have created history by voting in such large numbers. "I hope that the new government will work for a golden future of Uttarakhand," Dhami said to ANI. Reportedly, almost 62.5% people have voted in the assembly polls 2022. Moreover, the counting will take place on March 10.

BJP Releases 1st List Of 59 MLA Candidates, Names CM Dhami : Uttarakhand Polls
After announcing MLA candidates in Goa, the BJP announced its first MLA list in Uttarakhand. Consisting of 59 candidates, the MLA list include Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Minister Ganesh Joshi and leader Satpal Singh from Khatima, Mussoorie and Chaubattakhal. Besides ministers, five women and 15 Brahmin candidates also made it to the MLA list of the BJP. Notably, the Uttarakhand elections are being held for 70 seats.

Uttarakhand Govt Withdraws Char Dham Devasthanam Management Board Act
The Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on November 30 announced withdrawal of the Uttarakhand Char Dham Devasthanam Management Board Act 2019. His decision was based on a high-level committee's report, set by the government. The act proposed to bring Char Dham (Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath) and 49 shrines under the board. However, the priests did not agree to make a board saying it was encroachment upon their rights.

Uttarakhand CM To Donnate A Month's Salary Towards State CMRF
Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami announced on October 22 that he will be contributing his a month salary of October towards Uttarakhand's Chief Minister Relief Fund. Uttarakhand has witnessed a natural calamity, which has caused 64 deaths, and 11 are still missing. Furthermore, a disaster-relief camp has also been started by the Uttarakhand Police in collaboration with SDRF in Rudrapur city on October 22.

35 Die & 5 Remain Missing Due To Heavy Rains In Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand has reported over 200mm of rainfall in 24 hours. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that as many as 34 people have lost their lives and 5 people are still missing. Furthermore, Dhami announced compensation for the families affected by the disaster. "Those who lost their houses will be given Rs 1,09,000, Rs 4 lakh compensation to the families of the deceased.", said CM Dhami.

Pushkar Singh Dhami Appointed As Uttarakhand's New CM
During a legislature party meeting in Dehradun on July 3, Pushkar Singh Dhami has been appointed as the new CM of Uttarakhand after Tirath Singh Rawat resigned from the position. Dhami is a BJP MLA from the Khatima constituency in Udham Singh Nagar district. After being elected as CM, Dhami said, ''My party has appointed a common worker...We accept the challenge of serving people.''
