Bihar Polls: Nitish Kumar Attacked With Onions During Rally In Madhubani

While addressing a rally in Bihar's Madhubani district for the third phase of the assembly elections, CM Nitish Kumar was pelted with onions on November 3. The CM was attacked when he was talking about employment in the state. Responding to the attack, Kumar said, "Keep throwing. You all can understand this will not have any impact." However, he did not stop and completed his speech after the guards protected him.

Bihar Polls: PM Modi To Address Four Rallies In State On November 1

PM Narendra Modi will be addressing four back-to-back rallies in Bihar on November 1 as the state will undergo second-phase of assembly elections on November 3. Reportedly, PM Modi will begin the rally-marathon from Chapra, followed by a public meeting in Samastipur, after which he will visit Gandhi Maidan in Motihari before concluding the tour in Bagaha. The state CM Nitish Kumar may join the PM in Samastipur and Bagaha.

West Bengal: Sikh Community Protests After Cop Pulls Man's Turban

The members of the Sikh Community carried out a rally on October 10 against the alleged manhandling of a 'Sikh man', identified as Balwinder Singh, by Kolkata police during a BJP rally. The uproar followed a viral video, wherein the police can be seen pulling Balwinder's turban. However, the police have denied the allegations saying that the turban fell "automatically" during the scuffle to seize the gun he was carrying.
