Sameer Wankhede Owns Bar & Restaurant: Reports
Sameer Wankhede, the zonal head of the Narcotics Control Bureau, has a bar and restaurant license in his name Navi Mumbai's Vashi. The excise department's data shows the license of Hotel Sadguru is in the name of Wankhede. It was reportedly first issued on October 27, 1997. Wankhede confirmed to TOI that the license was in his name but he also said his father holds the power of attorney.

Special Team To Probe Aryan Khan's Case; Wankhede Removed From Drugs Case
Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau will be reaching Mumbai from Delhi on November 6. As per reports, the team will be taking over Aryan Khan's case which was earlier lead by Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of NCB. Moreover, the SIT will be probing three more drug cases in Mumbai, including the case in which Maharashtra Minister Nawab Mallik's son-in-law Sameer Khan is involved, said reports.

Wankhede's Wife Writes To Maharashtra CM Urging Justice Over Attack On Personal Life
Mrs Kranti Redkar, wife of Sameer Wankhede, wrote a letter to the Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, seeking justice over the "continued attack into her family's personal life", on October 28. Mrs Wankhede has also asked to meet the Chief Minister, but has reportedly not got any response yet. My Family Is Multi-Religious: Sameer Wankhede Attacks Nawab Mallik
NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede on October 25 retaliated in a press note after the Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik shared Wankhede's personnel documents commending him as a fraud. The officer, who was involved in the raid on the cruise ship, stated, "Publishing of my personal documents on Twitter is a defamatory and unnecessary invasion to my family". ''My father is a Hindu...My mother was a Muslim,'' added Wankhede.
