Jahangirpuri Violence Case: Brick Thrown At Crime Branch Officials During Investigation
Police in Delhi have detained one person for alleged involvement in "stone pelting" at police officers who were probing the Jahangirpuri violence Incident, on April 18. The incident occurred at C-Block in Jahangirpuri, and a brick was thrown at Delhi police crime branch, reported ANI. Commenting on the incident, Delhi police said, it "was was minor, one-off incident. Legal action is being taken". Further details are awaited.

15 Arrested For Pelting Stones At Security Forces: Jammu & Kashmir
An encounter took place on March 16, in Srinagar, in which three terrorists were killed. Following the incident, 15 people were arrested for allegedly being involved in stone-pelting against security forces, on March 17. "A large unruly mob assembled from adjacent areas of Shankerpora Wanabal carrying 'lathies' and stones in their hands and pelted stones on the deployed staff," police said. Section 144 Imposed In Maharashtra's Amravati: Communal Violence
The Amravati police commissionerate on November 13 imposed Section 144 in Maharashtra's Amravati district till further orders. The order came after a mob pelted stones on shops at various places in the district during a bandh called by a saffron body. The bandh was called to protest against stone-pelting incidents during the rallies organised by Muslim organisations on November 12 who were protesting against communal violence in Tripura.

Assam Govt Orders Probe To Inquire Death & Firing In Darrang
Following the death of two civilians and injury to several others, including policemen, the Assam Government has initiated a judicial probe into the matter. Palestinians, Israeli Police Engage In Clash Again Hours After Truce
