Telangana's RGUKT Students Protest Against Poor Quality Food In Campus

Students of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies (RGUKT) Telangana continued their protest, staging a sit-in at the IIT gate. Popularly known as IIT Basara students, they raised voice against poor quality food and demanding good food, water and basic amenities to students. They submitted 12 requests, including a permanent Vice-Chancellor at the IIT and tagged CM KCR and IT Minister KTR, asking to look into the matter.

TRS Celebrates 21st Foundation Day Aiming National Political Agenda

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is set to celebrate 21st Foundation Day on April 27. On this occasion, TRS President K Chandrashekar Rao and other leaders will conduct a  grant event at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, in the city. During the celebration, the KCR-led TRS will also pass a resolution over its key-role in the 2024 General elections. The event will be attended by 3,000 members, MLCs, MLAs.

No Alliance With TRS In Telangana, Says Rahul Gandhi

Congress Senior leader Rahul Gandhi confirmed that there will not be any alliance with the K Chandrashekar Rao-led Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government. During a party meeting with TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy, and other Congress leaders from Telangana, Gandhi made it clear that his party will go solo in Telangana against the TRS and BJP. Meanwhile, the K Chandrashekar Rao government is pitching for a federal front against BJP.

Hyderabad's Numaish 2022 To Resume In Feb End As COVID Cases Decline

Hyderabad's Annual fair "Numaish" will reopen from February. Started in January, the All India Industrial Exhibition was shut down due to COVID-19 third wave. However, as the cases are declining, the fair is expected to resume for the usual 40-45 days, which would see traders with various products from across India.
