In the latest development, the Taliban issued an order to impose a ban on women from featuring in soap operas. It also asked the female journalists to wear hijabs on television. Foreign and locally produced movies promoting foreign culture and traditions in Afghanistan have also been banned. The Taliban defended the new order saying they are at par with ''the principles of Sharia and Afghan values.

Gujarat Woman Becomes Mother At 70; Gives Birth To Boy
Showing extraordinary courage at the age of 70, Jivuben Rabari from Gujarat's kutch gave birth to a healthy baby boy without any difficulty through cesarean on October 21. Doctors also praised Rabari for her grit to have a child in spite of the danger to her own life. Reportedly, she and her husband Valjibhai Rabari had been dreaming to become parents for 45 years.

Woman Forced To Remove Hijab In MP's Bhopal, Video Goes Viral
Few individuals in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal forced a lady riding pillion on a scooter to remove her hijab on October 16, resulting in significant social-media outrage. There has been no police report made. Two of them were nabbed and freed after being cautioned not to do it again. "It is suspected that the people believed the man was Hindu and the girl Muslim," said police officer RS Verma.

US Woman Jailed For Approaching A Bear In Yellowstone National Park
Samantha Dehring, a US woman who came very close to a grizzly bear and her three cubs to take her picture in Yellowstone Nationa Park in May, has been awarded four days jail and fined $1,000. Dehring also unheeded park rangers' instructions. ''Approaching a sow grizzly with cubs is absolutely foolish,'' said Acting United States Attorney Bob Murray. The rules say one should maintain at least 100 meters distance.

Maharashtra Woman Duped Of ₹ 11.45 Lakh By Online Fraudasters
Maharashtra police said a 66-year-old woman was duped of Rs 11.45 lakh by some unidentified individuals on the pretext of exchanging her old coins and currency notes in Maharashtra's Thane. Reportedly, the perpetrators, who're on the run, contacted her on social media and offered Rs 45 lakh in exchange after transferring the amount. She filed a complaint against them on October 2 when she didn't get the requested amount.

Maharashtra Female Constable Arrested For Selling Seized Items
Mangal Gaikwad, a female Constable was arrested in connection to a theft case in Maharashtra's Palghar district, said officials on September 11. Reportedly, the constable had been stealing the seized items and selling them to scrap dealers for the last six years and made an overall profit of Rs 26 lakhs. Eventually, she was caught during an audit and has been suspended till further notice.
