Delhi Woman Compensated Rs. 2 Cr For Wrong Hair Cut

A woman was awarded Rs. 2 crore by National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in compensation after professionals at the salon at Hotel ITC Maurya gave her the utmost bad haircut in 2018. Reportedly, the Delhi-based woman is a hair model. ''She lost her expected assignments and suffered a huge loss which shattered her dream to be a top model,'' the Redressal commission said.

Maharashtra Female Constable Arrested For Selling Seized Items

Mangal Gaikwad, a female Constable was arrested in connection to a theft case in Maharashtra's Palghar district, said officials on September 11. Reportedly, the constable had been stealing the seized items and selling them to scrap dealers for the last six years and made an overall profit of Rs 26 lakhs. Eventually, she was caught during an audit and has been suspended till further notice.

Two Russian Women Found Dead In North Goa

Two Russian women identified as Alexandra Ri-Djavi and Ekaterina Titova were found dead in two separate incidents. According to the police, the 24-year-old Ri-Djavi was found hanging in her rented apartment in Siolim, North Goa, While Ekaterina, who is 34-year-old was found dead on her bed in her rented apartment in Oxel, North Goa. The Police await Russian Embassy's permission to conduct a post-mortem.

Woman Sues Bob Dylan For Sexually Abusing Her As A Minor

A woman, alleging Bob Dylan sexually abused her in 1965, has sued him for "assault, battery, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional stress". The woman, identified as J.C., claimed to have been groomed for sex as a 12-year-old and sexually abused for six weeks by the American singer in his New York's Hotel Chelsea. Dylan's spokesperson stated, "the 56-year-old claims are untrue and will be vigorously defended".

Durga Puja 2021: Priestesses To Conduct Rituals This Year

After developing pain in the right armpit, a 26-year-old Portuguese woman was found to have been diagnosed with accessory breast tissue, also known as polymastia. US Woman Arrested For Hacking Niece, Nephew To Death

An American woman, identified as "Nicole Johnson" has been arrested by the police for murdering her seven-year-old niece and five-year-old nephew, who was entrusted to her in 2019 by her sister. Reportedly, the police on July 29 said that Johnson had "stuffed the children's bodies in her car wrapped with plastic bags" after murdering them and drove the car regularly. Faridabad Woman Arrested For Framing Her Husband Under Cannabis Case

Faridabad Police registered an FIR against a woman who allegedly tried to frame her husband under cannabis case. Reportedly, the woman had bought 700 grams of cannabis from a dealer in Delhi, planted in her husband's auto-rickshaw and tipped off the police.
