Twitter Offices In Delhi, Mumbai Shut Down, Employees Asked To Do WFH
Twitter India shuts offices in Delhi and Mumbai, directing all the employees to work from home. On February 17, CEO Elon Musk owned two Twitter offices in India decided to continue working from home to cut costs and get the struggling micro-blogging site back on track. TCS Asks Employees To Work From Office, Sent Email
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) finally ended the work-from-home (WFH) system for its employees, asking them to come office at least thrice a week. On September 24, the TCS sent an email to all of its employees, working in a hybrid model, ending full work-from-home adopted because of the pandemic. Union Commerce Ministry Announces New Guidelines For WFH In Companies Across India
New set of guidelines for work from home (WFH) in organizations across India was released by Union Commerce Ministry on July 19. In accordance with the regulations, WFH is permitted for up to one year in Special Economic Zones (SEZ) unit and can be expanded to 50% employees. Employees of IT/ITeS SEZ units, temporarily disabled, who are traveling, and who are working offsite are included in the group of workers.

Sri Lanka Shut Schools, Urges Work From Home To Save Fuel Amid Economic Crisis
Sri Lanka Troops distributed tokens to citizens standing in lines for fuel on June 27 amid a severe fuel scarcity in the country grappling with its worst economic crisis. Delhi Govt Extends Ban On Trucks' Entry To Curb Air Pollution
The Delhi government on November 21 extended the ban on the entry of trucks carrying non-essential goods until November 26.
