Living Virus On Frozen Food Package Carries COVID-19 Infection Risk
While analysing the coronavirus outbreak at Qingdao, China, the country's Centre for Disease Control and Prevention found that living coronavirus on outer packaging of frozen food can cause infection. The analysis noted that the virus can travel long distances through such packages. Reportedly, the CDC has advised workers involved in frozen food processing to avoid direct contact with the products. However, it stated risk level in such cases is low.
