Assam's Student Union To Organize Protests During PM Modi's Visit

Assam's student organization AASU has said that it will hold protests on February 22, the day on which PM Narendra Modi will be visiting the state. The All Assam Students Union (AASU) has alleged that the Centre has deceived Assamese people by not implementing Clause 6 of the Assam Accord. The clause promises to preserve and protect the cultural heritage of the state citizens. Besides, AASU demands to stop construction of big dams in Assam.
