Bangalore's Kempegowda International Airport Achieves 250 Million Passenger Mark: Karnataka
The Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore has surpassed the 250 million passenger mark during the last week of June, achieving a significant milestone. Also, since its opening in 2008, the airport achieved two million air transport movement (ATM). After two slow years of growth caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the airport has historically grown very fast since then. Reportedly, inclusion of more routes has contributed majorly to its growth.
