China Launches First Electrified Bullet Train Connecting Indian Border
Improving the connectivity of trains in Tibet, China has started its first fully electrified bullet train on June 24. The train will ply between Tibet's capital Lhasa and Nyingchi near Arunachal Pradesh. The line is considered to be helpful to China in safeguarding border stability and during the crisis at the India-China border. However, it is a big achievement for China's Communist party before the centenary celebrations on July 1.
