Delhi: DDA To Come Up With Policy For Development In Green Belt Areas
Zooming in on the development in villages of the green belt, the Delhi Development Authority will soon be putting a policy in the public domain. The new policy, tentatively named Low-Intensity Development Area (LIDA), aims to allow the setting up of institutions, hospitals and parks in the area, which as of now is restricted. Benefiting around 70 villages, the policy also promises to open new avenues of livelihood for residents of the villages.
