Dengue Exposure Could Lead To Immunity against COVID-19: Study
According to a study conducted in Brazil, people who were exposed to dengue can have higher chances of developing immunity against coronavirus. The study, led by Miguel Nicolelis, professor at Duke University, observed the geographic spread of coronavirus as compared to dengue outbreaks and mapped it. The mapping revealed that areas with lower COVID infection rate had reported intense dengue outbreaks. However, further studies are required to establish the findings.
