Nanded Govt Hospital Tragedy, 6 More Deaths Reported In 24 Hours
In Maharashtra's Nanded region, Dr Shankarrao Chavan Government Medical College and Hospital, run by the state government, reported six new deaths on October 4. In the past 48 hours, the hospital witnessed 31 deaths, including 12 newborns, due to a shortage of medicine and staff negligence. Meanwhile, Medical Education Minister Hasan Mushrif assured investigation and a better situation and facilities in the next 15 days.

Bus Collision In Tamil Nadu Leaves 70 Injured

Family Claims Newborn's Face Eaten By Animal At Government Hospital; Investigation Underway
The family of a newborn boy who passed away at a government hospital shortly after birth claims that an animal bit off half of the baby's face. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan announced if people don't take Covid-19 vaccines, they won't be entitled to get free Covid treatment at government hospitals. 9 Infants Die At Kota's JK Lon Hospital In 2 Days; Probe Initiated
In Rajasthan's Kota district, nine infants have died since December 9 at a state-run JK Lon hospital. Reportedly, five infants had died on December 9 and four on December 10. Health Minister Raghu Sharma has ordered an investigation on the deaths and has warned the authorities of strict measures.
