DRDO, CAIR Develop AI Algorithm To Detect COVID-19 Through X-Rays

The DRDO and Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics CAIR have developed an AI algorithm that helps in detecting COVID-19 through chest X-rays. 'The tool named ‘Atman AI’ will help in automatically detecting radiological findings indicative of COVID-19 in seconds' with an accuracy rate of 96.73%. The cost-efficient software developed keeping frontline workers in mind will be introduced in 1,000 hospitals with the help of the 5C Network.
