"God's Own Country" Kerala Plans to Start Tourism in October
India's scenic state Kerala, well-known as "God's Own Country", is likely to re-open for tourists in early October, 2020. Tourism minister Kadakampally Surendran announced that the state is deliberating on plans for welcoming tourists in October. Reportedly, the state's tourism department has prepared a safety protocol in this regard. Tourism is one of the major revenue-generating industry in Kerala that has been in dormancy for last six months.
